Stats & Shots

We had a visit with Livie and Ace's doctor yesterday and both kiddos are healthy as can be! The fun part of a well visit is getting the stats:

Livie Loo is 35" tall (80%) & 25.5 lbs (40%). So she's tall and thin. Her doctor said at 2 years you can start to predict adult height and he thinks she'll be around 5'7" or so.

Mr. Ace is GROWING like crazy since he started out so small. At his 1 week visit he was 6lbs and 10oz and 19.5 inches. Now he's packed on almost 3 lbs in 4 weeks and is 9lbs 8oz and 21" long. That's 50% across the board.

So after the good stuff is the not so good stuff... shots! Livie got hit with 2 and Ace got 1. It's pretty much torture to watch someone intentionally hurt your child. Especially when they are both so unsuspecting and don't realize what's coming. Both cried (I teared up and so did Ollie's mom who is visiting) but both of my babes were absolute troopers and didn't fight or squirm. Thank goodness Livie won't be seeing any needles again until she's 5. Ace isn't quite so lucky.
