These Boots Are Made For Walkin'

This milestone seems like it took forever. It started with pulling up moved on to crusing, then on to standing alone and then one step and sitting, then two steps and sitting...now finally Miss Livie is walking almost everywhere. It was like a light switch was finally flipped and she realized she no longer needed the safety net of holding on to the couch or ottoman to move about. She could let go and be just fine! Now that she has this confindence she doesn't want to crawl any more - that stuff is for babies! She's a big girl now and can go where she pleases - well anywhere there's not a baby gate blocking the way. There's no turning back now. My favorite part is holding her hand when we walk outside. I love that little tiny hand in mine.
