First Flight

Last week our family took our annual trip up to the Great White North.  We typically go during the fall but this year held extra significance.  This time we were there not only to spend time with family but also to celebrate Uncle Roger and Auntie Sara getting married.  It was a jammed packed week filled with so much emotion.  It will take severals days of posts to share our expereinces but i'll start with the first day of our trek.

This trip marked the first flights for Livie and Ace.  Since babies require so much gear and flights can be pricey we have always opted to make the 12-14 hour drive to Toronto.  Thankfully my cousin's husband is a pilot and we were able to use buddy passes.  This was a huge help to the ole pocketbook and made the trip so much easier.

The kiddos were so excited to go on their very first plane rides.  And almost just as excited to take the shuttle bus from long term parking over to the terminal.  They are so funny.

On the shuttle bus.  How exciting!

Waiting for our plane.

They could barely take their eyes off the windows on the flights up.

Acey did however fall asleep on the second plane ride and again on the way home.  There was drool on that armrest.  He was out.  :)

We were so grateful for smooth plane rides and a fun first for the kiddos.
