Show Us Your Life: Best Desserts

Truth be told, I'm really not much of a baker.  Want proof.  Ask Ollie about his eggless birthday cake a few weeks ago.  It was eggless not becuase of allergies, but becuase I didn't have any eggs and was too lazy to go to the store.  It was basically cornbread with hideous chocolate frosting.  Sounds de-lish, right?  Riiiight.  So basically I fulfill my baked goods cravings with store bought goodies or something from a box that's Kenna-proofed for errors (or laziness).

When asked to make a dessert, this is my go to recipe - super easy, no baking whatsoever and a bit on the healthy side.  As an added bonus it involves using your favorite breakfast drink & mine... TANG!

Ingredients:
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1/4 c. powdered Tang (can use less if you don't want it quite so "tang"y)
Juice from a 20 oz. can pineapple tidbits (save the pineapple)
Mandarin oranges
Any fresh fruit available:  grapes, strawberries, cantaloupe, blueberries, melons, bananas, kiwi, etc.

Directions:
Combine the instant vanilla pudding & Tang.  Whisk in the pineapple juice.  Cut up all of the fruits and add in the pineapple and oranges.  Pour the Tang mixture over the top and coat all of the fruit.

Notes:  If you use bananas (my favorite part) add them just before serving.  They will brown a bit if put in too early (even if refrigerated - even if you add lemon juice).  You can also use the Tang mixture as a dip if you don't want your fruit pre-soaked in the deliciousness.
