Yesterday Ace became a 10 month old! He's learning new tricks and changing with every breath it seems. He:
has finally got teeth! His 2 bottom teeth have broken through and his top teeth are right there. You can see them just ready to pop on out. I'm seriously relieved. I thought we might be investing in baby false teeth.
is pulling up on EVERYTHING. He can stand for a few seconds without falling down. His method of getting down from the standing position is to dive onto the ground hands first. Amazingly he's catches himself everytime.
can go up the stairs with ease. Cool milestone, but mildly nerve racking for mommy and daddy.
can wave.
can clap. Last night in fact was a really sweet clapping moment. We were all clapping with Ace. Livie showed him her clap and he copied her exactly by not clapping his hands together but clapping one hand to the other's arm. He wants to do things just like his big sister. Just precious.
knows his name, Livie's name & Chewie's name.
makes all kinds of sounds but his favorite is still "Da Da". This is just a little irritating to "Ma Ma" - because believe me - we practice "Ma Ma" alot. I'm beginning to think he has a preference. ;)
likes to spit his food out. Just last night Ollie had his face splatter painted with yogurt.
loves bath times. He gets on his belly, splashes down with his arms and kicks his legs. The next Michael Phelps? Who knows.
does not like wearing socks. At all. Never has.
still has the best disposition. I hope he has his easy going nature forever.

And he is taking a few steps in his Jeep walker, drinking juice from his sippy cup, loves to laugh (and even has eyes that look as though they are laughing), takes short naps for a baby (2 hours is a long nap for this little guy), loves to stand and look out the window, loves to play with blocks (especially knocking down Livie's towers), wants his freedom to crawl, crawl, crawl, and is one of the sweetest, most loving dolls around!
How is Ace already 10 months old? Sheesh! I like the new layout! Cutest kids I've ever seen.
