No.

I guess maybe my husband and I have used the word "no" a little too often with Olivia. We don't mean to, sometimes it's just necessary. "No, don't touch the stove, it's hot." "No, don't take everything out of the bathroom drawers." "No, please don't take off your diaper."

This has become Livie's favorite word. A few examples:

Me: "Livie, are you ready for your bath?"
Livie: "No." "Baff. Ready."

Me: "Livie, can mommy have a kiss?"
Livie: (shakes head) "No."

Me: "Livie, can mommy have a hug?
Livie: (shakes head again) "No."

Me: "Livie, do you ever say yes?"
Livie: (smiling) "No."

I think I'm going to start saying yes to everything so she'll agree to giving hugs and kisses and I won't have to steal them.
